i think the beauty of sherlock doesn’t lie in its intricate plots, or its gaygaygay subtexts or its little jokes…
it’s how nothing is left to chance.
from the cluedo board stabbed to the wall, to the way moriarty elongates “sssskin” to the little nod and march john does at sherlock’s grave, it’s a beautiful television show because you can tell that a group of people somewhere spent years and years making sure that everything was so perfect and literally flawless that it just had to break your heart.
